 Optional Power Recline:
Avalon uses an "Okin" unit which is the "state of the art" power unit in the furniture industry. Okin manufactures the power seat units for BMW and Mercedes Benz automobiles. The power converter has a battery port that takes two 9-volt batteries (not included) This is for emergency use only in case there is a loss of electricity when the customer is reclined. The battery back up will supply power for 2-3 cycles only. Batteries should be replaced after every power outage, where emergency cycling has been used.
