Warranty & Returns

RETURN POLICY

We will issue a refund, less a restocking fee of 10% of the total order, if we are notified of your desire to cancel within 48 hours of the time you take possession of the merchandise. This excludes bedding and sleep products, which may not be returned. There will be an additional delivery charge assessed if our trucks pick up the merchandise from your home. You may return items yourself, but a refund will only be issued if merchandise is returned in the same condition in which it was received. We reserve the right to refuse returns that are soiled or damaged. ALL CLEARANCE MERCHANDISE IS SOLD AS-IS and without warranty. No returns or refunds will be allowed on clearance merchandise. All custom or special orders require a 20% NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT. Special or custom orders are not returnable.

WARRANTY POLICY

Your satisfaction is our goal. Please read all manufacturers’ warranties carefully. During the first year the manufacturer’s warranty will cover FACTORY DEFECTS on all parts. All warranties are Manufacturer’s warranties and will be facilitated by Brown Squirrel as long as the manufacturer remains in business, so that we may get parts for repairs. If the manufacturer goes out of business, the warranty is void. During the first year from the date of purchase, Brown Squirrel will REPAIR any defect covered by the manufacturer’s warranty with no labor charge to you. Our goal is to repair the piece as quickly as possible. We will do everything we can to expedite your order. However, we are at the mercy of the manufacturers, and cannot control the shipping time for parts. In the rare case the piece cannot be repaired, the manufacturer will authorize an exchange for the damaged piece during the first year. These warranties do not apply to damage resulting from misuse, self transportation damage, neglect, accidents, or normal wear and tear. Nor does it cover the permanence of color, or the wearing quality of covering materials on upholstered goods. Pilling [excess fabric balls] is not covered under manufacturers’ warranties. Warranties do not cover clearance items or any items sold As-Is. Brown Squirrel will assume responsibility for transportation, as needed, during the 1 year warranty period, as long as the merchandise is located within our delivery and service radius.
